Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
CEO Websites ("we", "us", "our") is a small web design and hosting business based in Stone, Staffordshire. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what your rights are.
Who we are
CEO Websites, Stone, Staffordshire. You can contact us about anything in this policy at oscarhb2008@icloud.com or on 07424 905797.
What information we collect
When you use the enquiry form on this site, we collect:
- Your name and business name
- Your phone number and email address
- Details you choose to share about your business and your current website situation
We also automatically receive some technical information when you visit the site, such as your IP address and browser type, via our hosting provider's standard server logs, and via requests made to Google Fonts to load the typefaces used on this site.
Why we collect it
We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry, provide a quote, and discuss the work you're asking about. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
How your enquiry is handled
The enquiry form on this site opens your own email app with your details pre-filled, ready for you to send directly to us. We don't use a third-party form-processing service — your information only reaches us once you choose to send that email yourself.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and, if we go on to work together, as part of our normal business records. If nothing comes of an enquiry, we aim to delete it within a reasonable period.
Third parties
- Website hosting — our hosting provider stores and serves the site.
- Google Fonts — used to display the typefaces on this site; loading them may share your IP address with Google.
- Google reCAPTCHA — used on our enquiry form to help prevent spam and automated submissions; this may share your IP address and device information with Google. See Google's Privacy Policy for how they handle this.
- Facebook — if you click through to our Facebook page, Facebook's own privacy policy applies to anything you do there.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We set one small first-party cookie purely to remember that you've dismissed our technology notice, so it doesn't reappear on every page — this is strictly functional and contains no personal data. Google reCAPTCHA, used on our enquiry form, may also set its own cookies as part of its spam-detection process; these are set by Google, not by us.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or ask us to delete the information we hold about you, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to request a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, just email us. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
